Dripping Springs Auction

To start my journey off I purchased some items from an Auction in Dripping Springs. I spent $270.31 on 19 lots. My oldest son went with my mother and I to pick up the items, as he bought two items to resale. One lesson to learn from this auction was think about what you bid before you buy. I try to research everything I bid on if possible. One item I bid on was a punching bag, but you fill it with water. They showed a picture of it hanging and it was in good condition. I purchased it for $6.00 and figured I could resale it for $75.00. When we went to get the punching bag it was still filled with water and hanging from the tree. My six foot tall football player build son could not even lift it. The plug to drain the water was at the top. If you could have been a fly on the wall you wold have laughed so hard at us. My mother and I are trying to get the water out of the ball my son wants to just leave it and we are telling him no we can do it, well with his help and 30 minutes later we got the ball down. So think things through before you buy them.

I have listed all the books (4 lots of books) and (2 lots) of Lego books. I should do well on the books as I had one book alone sell for $40.00, $20.00, $15.00 and multiple at $5.00. then the balance $1.00 – $3.00 plus shipping on all items.

One lot was Nutcrackers, this lot I did not notice the shoe was missing on two of the larger nutcrackers, but I should still make more then I paid for them.

Three of the Four lots of toys I purchased, I have listed and one lot of baby items I also listed. One lot had eight Arthur Court Aluminum pieces and I also listed those.

I still have Baseball cards, Fossils, Kitchen items and a Home school Curriculum lot to list. I plan on having all the items listed this weekend. I will update you on large sales as they come in.
